01 / CHAPTER
1. Operator, document status and contact.
The service provider is Mateusz Sury, a sole proprietor trading under the business name Mateusz Sury. The active CEIDG record began on 6 August 2026. Registered address: ul. Biedronki 8/2, 05-270 Marki, Poland. NIP: 8961670846. REGON: 545313843. D-U-N-S: 369618965. These Terms are effective from 2 September 2026 and govern each order formed through the checkout. Official CEIDG record: https://aplikacja.ceidg.gov.pl/ceidg/ceidg.public.ui/SearchDetails.aspx?Id=0d2d93ac-ff49-43ed-94f0-5aacb001f0de
- Service questions and complaints may be sent to support@deskchord.com or made by telephone at +48 71 707 24 55. Do not include passwords, recovery codes, full payment-card details or private keys.
- These Terms are available free of charge before contract formation in a form the user can save and reproduce.
- The Privacy Policy is a separate document and forms part of the public-service information package.

02 / CHAPTER
2. Services covered by these Terms.
The electronic services are browsing the public site, creating and managing an optional account, recovery, account export and deletion, starting a hosted checkout, checking an order, receiving a signed licence record and creating or revoking device activations.
- The installed Windows and Android application communicates directly between paired devices on the private LAN; the public account is not peer authority or a relay.
- Free local capabilities, Pro lifetime entitlements and future Google Play distribution are distinct delivery channels and show their exact availability before order.
- Transactional email and hosted payments are available where shown by the current service configuration. Signed release binaries, Virtual Display production support and Google Play commerce remain separate delivery gates.

03 / CHAPTER
3. Technical requirements and safe use.
The public service requires a current standards-based browser, JavaScript, cookies needed for account security and an internet connection. The installed product targets the compatibility matrix published on the Availability page and requires a user-controlled private LAN.
- The user must keep account credentials, recovery codes and exported licence files confidential and maintain control of paired devices.
- The user may not provide unlawful content, probe or bypass access controls, impersonate another person, interfere with the service, automate abuse or use DeskChord to access a device without authority.
- Each peer capability is independently authorised and denied by default. Safety, revocation and current-user restrictions may not be disabled by a paid plan.

04 / CHAPTER
4. Account and electronic-service agreement.
The account agreement is formed only when registration is accepted by the service. Registration requires accurate user-controlled details and acceptance of the then-current Terms; no account is required for the local workspace unless a specific licence or recovery action says otherwise.
- The user may sign out, export account data or request permanent deletion from the portal. Deletion revokes dependent licences and activations before removing the account record.
- The operator may block a compromised session or suspend abusive use to protect users and the service, while preserving mandatory consumer rights.
- A service complaint may be submitted to support@deskchord.com. Receipt is acknowledged within 2 business days and a final response is provided within 14 calendar days, subject to any shorter mandatory deadline.

05 / CHAPTER
5. Price, order and payment.
Before the final order action, the checkout shows the product, licence scope, total price and currency, the payment provider selected from currently enabled routes, immediate-delivery consequences and the button wording required for an order with an obligation to pay.
- The DeskChord Pro lifetime catalogue is one EUR 49.00 charge with no subscription or automatic renewal. The total shown in checkout is authoritative.
- Stripe card checkout and NOWPayments crypto invoice are independent hosted routes. Checkout shows only providers enabled by the current service configuration; the selected provider receives the data necessary for that route and the other provider receives none. Stripe status is verified from signed callbacks; NOWPayments status is rechecked through an authenticated server request. An order is fulfilled only after the server verifies the provider's authoritative status.
- A redirect, browser URL or screenshot is never proof of payment. A failed, expired or unverified status does not create a licence.
- No payment method is charged without the user's own action on the selected provider's hosted page. DeskChord offers a voluntary refund for the first lifetime purchase for 14 calendar days, including after activation; an accepted refund revokes the associated licence. The policy applies to either route: an approved refund is returned to the original payment method where technically and legally possible, or to another method agreed with the consumer without consumer cost. Send a request or complaint to support@deskchord.com; receipt is acknowledged within 2 business days, a final decision is provided within 14 calendar days, and the refund is issued within 14 calendar days of acceptance or withdrawal. Statutory withdrawal, conformity and other mandatory consumer rights always prevail.

06 / CHAPTER
6. Licence and activation boundary.
A confirmed Pro lifetime purchase grants a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the covered DeskChord release and stated features for the displayed device limit. It transfers no source-code ownership, trademark or peer authority.
- A lifetime licence means no recurring subscription for that entitlement; it does not promise that every future paid product, platform or external service is included forever.
- The signed licence, activation and revocation records are the offline authority. Copying or modifying a file cannot expand the entitlement. Third-party open-source components remain under their accompanying notices and licences.
- Reverse engineering remains permitted where mandatory law expressly allows it; these Terms do not remove non-waivable interoperability or consumer rights.

07 / CHAPTER
7. Consumer withdrawal and immediate digital delivery.
A consumer entering a distance contract generally has a statutory 14-day withdrawal period. Before a paid checkout can create an order, it requires two separate, unticked confirmations: an express request for immediate digital delivery and an acknowledgement of the loss of the statutory withdrawal right once delivery begins, to the extent permitted by law.
- The checkout submits the Terms version, checkout-consent version and both boolean confirmations with the order; the service keeps that legal proof with the order and exposes an authenticated order confirmation after fulfilment. The voluntary 14-day refund in section 5 remains available even after activation.
- The withdrawal acknowledgement applies only to the extent permitted by law. If any required condition is absent, checkout cannot proceed and the statutory withdrawal right is not treated as waived.
- No provider page or redirect can replace the two confirmations or the server's authoritative order and payment checks.

08 / CHAPTER
8. Conformity, updates and complaints.
Mandatory consumer remedies for non-conforming digital content or services are not excluded. The published compatibility, feature limits and release status form part of the pre-contract information for the version offered.
- Security and compatibility updates are described for the offered release on the Availability page; only published support commitments apply.
- A complaint should identify the account or order without sending passwords, recovery codes, full card data or private keys, and describe the observed non-conformity. Send it to support@deskchord.com; receipt is acknowledged within 2 business days and a final response is provided within 14 calendar days.
- The voluntary refund route in section 5 does not limit statutory withdrawal, conformity or other mandatory consumer rights. A durable-medium response is provided where required by law.

09 / CHAPTER
9. Availability and responsibility.
DeskChord may require maintenance, security suspension or a compatible local network. The operator does not guarantee uninterrupted discovery across isolated Wi-Fi, unsupported devices, protected content or platform restrictions disclosed before use.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer protection.
- The user remains responsible for device backups, network administration and authority to access paired devices; DeskChord file transfer is copy-only and never a backup service.
- For business users only, any final contractual limitation of liability requires separate legal approval before publication; no provisional liability cap applies.

10 / CHAPTER
10. Termination, changes and governing rules.
A user may end the free account service through permanent account deletion, subject to the retained non-identifying commercial and revocation records described in the Privacy Policy. Licence rights and mandatory remedies survive only as their contract and law require.
- Material changes will be announced before they take effect and the applicable version will be identifiable and saveable. Changes do not retroactively remove acquired consumer rights.
- Polish law governs these Terms, without depriving a consumer of mandatory protection granted by the law that applies to that consumer. English is the site's default language; the Polish text governs a Polish consumer contract where mandatory language law requires it.
- These Terms take effect on 2 September 2026. The current contact for support, complaints, refunds and dispute notices is support@deskchord.com. No obsolete EU ODR link is used.

FAQ
Clear answers before you install.
When do these Terms take effect?
These English-first Terms, version 1.3, take effect on 2 September 2026. The checkout can create an order only after it shows an enabled payment route and records both required consumer confirmations.
Does a web account grant control of another device?
No. Peer capabilities remain separate direct-LAN grants, denied by default. An account or licence never becomes a remote-control authority token.
Is a redirect proof that an order was paid?
No. Only an authoritative provider status verified by the server can fulfil an order and issue a licence.
